Entering the year of the DOG

Disneyland HK. It was wonderful. I had a lovely time with my family there and we went on some of the rides but truth be told, it was not as amazing as the other Disney's we've been to. First off, it was small and there wasn't a lot of rides as I found that it was definitely more for the younger children. The one thing that I really didn't like was that some Disney workers were really sourfaced. Disney is supposed to represent children's dreams and wishes thus they're supposed to be happy. It was rather disappointing to see that the staff there couldn't even be bothered to smile to their guests...

On the otherhand, the fireworks show and the scenes were amazing. Very pretty and definitely well-thought out. The Christmas tree was huge and Main St USA brought back memories of Orlando. I especially loved the live shows and was saddened when I found out there was only two. The lion king show was the best attraction of them all - very colorful and lively. All in all, it was a good Disneyland to go to if you'd never been to any of the others.

So now I'm back in Singapore. My holiday's at it's end. The rainy season has fallen on us and it's been torrential non-stop. No more clear skies that SG is so famous for. At least the heat has receded slightly... *grins* Well, back to the grind. Exams soon.
