Hit hard w/ jet lag
Here I am, sitting in the study at 5.21am trying to will myself to be tired so I can go to bed. Don't think that's going to happen anytime soon as I only got up today at 4 in the afternoon... Yeah... Damn.
The last week has been a blur of events. Not to say it's a bad thing cause I'm sure I enjoyed myself loads considering the lack of work I've produced, but it can't be a very good thing either cause if not, I wouldn't be here researching for my coursework. My books weighed a ton and dragging them to the airport was not my idea of fun. I dread to think that I've actually got to drag them back. Sigh... What to do?
I left in a bit of a hurry. Come to think about it, not many ppl knew when I left. I did mention it to most of my friends but by the time I was at the airport, I was so tired that I pretty much just called two or three of them and wished them a happy easter. Mmm... Not very considerate, I know. I was so tired tho. Mentally more than physically since I knew that I had at least 13 hours of travelling ahead of me minus the coach time. The weather was going crazy when I left. It was pouring like anything. Makes me so happy to be in singapore with the sun and all. *Vicki, Becca, Manasi, Tiff, if you mention anything about any of you going into shock or having a heartattack... I might have to kill you... slowly and painfully.*
So now I'm back in Asia, sitting by this desk and researching about corporate governance. The place has changed but my responsibilities remain... Oh well. Can't have everything in life can we? The good news is that Gramps is coming over soon and we'll all get to spend some time together - family style, if you know what I mean. And then, there's always that Vietnam trip that's coming up. I'm going to take loads of photos!!! *huge grin* I know, I know, I'm terrible for it.
My cousin has found a job in SG and will be staying with mom for a month or so. Apparently my aunt was kinda bummed out that mom wouldn't allow him to stay there permanently. I can see why but she can't see much beyond the cost and coming from M'sia, SG seems to have a higher cost of living. My cousin and I have never been close partially because he's spent his entire life in M'sia and mine everwhere else. This should be an interesting week for me. In fact, I'm kind of looking forward to getting to know him better. :)
I really should get to bed and sleep properly but I think I'm going to hang on till tomorrow evening so that the jet lag will go away. A nap should do me fine for now...
