Attacked by the flu

For the past week I've been down with the flu and it was horrible. I've never actually had the flu before this and man, I really never want to have it again. It was that bad. Everyday I woke up feeling icky and for the rest of the day, I'd lie around the house (either Tam's, mine or Mo & Nawaz's) and become zombie like. Somewhere along the way my voice cracked and according to Spy, I sound like a man. Nice...

Tam, the darling, was really sweet and took care of me all the way with bundles of hot toddies, hugs and getting tucked into bed. I miss the hot toddies already sweetie... :) Ravi was lovely as well as he took me out to lunch and walked me home. The poor thing caught the flu from my flat as a result and even came down with w fever and all. *Oops* It wasn't my fault! Really! Anyway, because of that, I totally refused to allow Foz to come over and visit me since the entire flat was affected. Everytime I stepped out of the house I felt so much better and everytime I was in, the cough came back. I think it's a sign to say: we need to air the flat hence the window in my room remains open.

I'm leaving in less than 5 days and there's so much to do. Will be a really busy weekend with Taz's birthday and Nic coming down to london, etc. I haven't even started on my coursework yet which really isn't good. Man, I need to get a move on. There's far too much to do and my priorities need to be reorganized. On that note... Laters!
